1 Father God, I thank you for the seasons of my journey- for the times of sorrow and the days of joy. Thank you that you are with me through it all, drawing me ever more deeply into your reality, meeting my needs, and using every conflict to teach me new things, Father, increase my thirst for you. May I never be content with where I am, but may I ever desire to know you more. In Jesus’ name, amen.

2 Father God, I want your will because I know that nothing else on earth will truly fulfill me. Forgive me for trying to satisfy myself with the bland food of my self-will when you are waiting with the banquet of your perfect will for me. Amen.

3 Oh, Father, make my life a testimony of the grace for purpose prayers I declare over my life. Thank you for the ultimate gift of grace that continually flows into my life through the shed blood of your Son. I pray this prayer in his name, amen.

4 Father, I thank you for the prayers of your Son. Thank you for the unity we enjoy with him when we realize that we are in him and he is in you. Amen.

5 O Lord, thank you for inviting us to pray. Thank you for calling us back to you: out of our weariness into your rest, out of our need into your abundance, out of our loneliness into your friendship. Continue to draw us to you. Teach us to pray. Amen.

6 Our father, the God who loves us, the one whom we can trust and turn to-our Father, your home is in Heaven, but it is also in our hearts. Your name and your character are holy and righteous and without flaw. Bless me with divine inspirations and prayers that will change and transform my life around. Amen.

7 Father, I thank you that you desire to feed me with the “true bread” of your Son, for he is the “food” that endures. I receive the bread of his presence into myself-body, soul, and spirit-with joy and gratitude. Amen.

8 Lord Jesus, thank you for your sacrifice on Calvary, making a way for us to be forgiven and teaching us how to forgive. We choose forgiveness because it is what you have prescribed for us. Work through us, empowering us to be instruments of your forgiveness. Amen.

9 Oh, Lord, how good you are to us, your children. We let you down, and still, you love us. We fall, and you lift us up. Forgive our sins today, Father, and deliver us from the evil one. Amen.

10 Jesus, I have seen the face of your mercy. You are my Savior and my Friend. Lead me ever deeper into this life of faith. Amen.

11 Lord God, thank you that we cannot separate ourselves from you. You will always be near us and near our loved ones, caring for us and keeping us no matter what may come. Amen.

12 Lord, I thank you that you are pleased with me and love me. Thank you for David and Zephaniah’s words in Psalm 41:11-12 and Zephaniah 3:17 that let me know how you feel about me. I choose to live my life in the reality of those truths. I love you, Lord. Amen.

13 Oh, Father, what a tremendous comfort to know that you know everything; you never change. You have been here from before the foundations of the earth, and you will never leave us nor forsake us. I worship you, O Lord. Amen.

14 Lord God, we thank you for the gift of prayer. Thank you for our homes and your willingness to dwell with us. Stir up in our hearts a desire to invite you daily into the rooms of our homes and hearts. In Jesus’ name, amen.

15 Lord Jesus, I trust you to pray with power in and through me. Help me not to worry about what words I will say to you, but teach me simply to allow you to have your way in me. I trust you, and I yield to your Spirit. Amen.

16 Father God, I worship you. Keep me close to you today. Call my attention to you and help me recognize the many opportunities I have to pray without ceasing. I choose to lift my heart to you in every small thing. Amen.

17  Lord, I am so thankful that You chose me! Even though the devil has tried to use people to tell me that I would never be worth anything, You wanted me and sought me out until I finally heard Your voice and surrendered to your call. I  am so grateful that the world’s opinion about me wasn’t true. I’m happy that You pursued me with such a mighty love, and you refused to give up on me. What else can I say to express my heart to You? I can only say, “Thank You, Jesus!” I pray this in Jesus’ name! Amen.

 

18  Lord, I thank You for the victory You obtained by Your resurrection from the dead. No one else could have done what You did for us. You invaded hell, broke the power of its demonic forces: seized their artillery, and bound the devil. And because You did all this, You set us free! You are our great Victor, our great Champion, and You are the Lord of all lords. Thank You for cleansing me with Your blood and granting me the honor to be called a son of God and a joint-heir with You. I pray this in Jesus’ name! Amen.

 

19 Lord, how can I ever thank You enough for the power of Your Word? I am so honored that You would place such a gift in my life. Help me to appreciate it, value it, and give it the kind of reception it deserves. I want to make Your Word a top priority in my life; I want it to feel welcomed, wanted, and deeply loved. Starting today, I open my heart wider than ever before and ask that your Word come to richly dwell inside me. I pray this in Jesus’ name! Amen.

20 Lord, I thank You for coming into my life and for breaking the power of sin that used to hold me captive. I remember the futility I felt as I tried to change myself but couldn’t do it. But when You came into my life, everything changed! I praise You for loving me so much that You left Heaven and descended into a world filled with sin and depravity. You did that for me, and I thank You so much! I pray this in Jesus’ name! Amen.

21 Lord, I want to thank You for loving me so much that You gave Your precious blood on the Cross for me. I was so lost and so hopeless, but You came for me- and when You came into my life, everything in me changed. Hope, joy, and peace came into my heart, and today I am completely different from the person I used to be. All this happened because of Your shed blood, Jesus, so today, I want to take this moment to thank You for doing what no one else could do for me. I pray this in Jesus’ name! Amen.

22 Lord, I ask You to forgive me for the times I have allowed strife to get into my heart. Also, please forgive me for those occasions when I have been the origin of conflict and fighting. Help me grow in discernment to quickly recognize when the devil is trying to create division. Show me how to be a peacekeeper and a source of harmony rather than a player in the midst of others’ wrong attitudes. I pray this in Jesus’ name! Amen.

23 Lord, now I understand that I’ve been trying to find answers I’ll never discover by myself. The things I long to know can only be revealed by You, so today, I ask You to pull back the veil that has concealed those things I long to understand. I know that when You get involved, my eyes will be opened, and my ignorance will evaporate. I sincerely ask You in faith to speak to me and to show me those things I need to know. I pray this in Jesus’ name! Amen.

24 Lord, I want You to be so real in my life. I know that You are willing to make Yourself known and felt in every part of my life. I will surrender more of me to experience all of You in every sphere of my existence. Jesus, please have Your way in my life. Do whatever You deem necessary to make me the kind of person I need to be. Help me know and experience You better. I pray this in Jesus’ name! Amen.

25  Lord, I’ve been asking You for power and strength, not realizing that I have the source of Your power and strength sitting right in my house. Forgive me for not spending enough time in my Bible to tap into the power held within it. Starting today, I want to make Your Word a priority in my life.

When I am tempted to be lazy and to put off reading my Bible, please help me say no to my flesh. Help me choose to pick up my Bible and read it whether I feel like it or not, taking it deep into my heart and letting the power inside the Word begin to work in me and in my situation. I pray this in Jesus’ name! Amen.

26 Oh, Lord, I choose you and our relationship. I want to draw near to you, to sit at your feet and hear your words. They are the treasures of my heart. I love you, Lord. Amen.

27 Father God, equip us and teach us to pray as intercessors. Strap on us the full armor of your kingdom and lead us forth into battle. We choose to follow you. Amen.

28 Oh, Father, you see our trouble and grief, and you don’t ignore it. You enter into our problems. You truly are the Father of the fatherless. Forgive me when I allow anything to keep me from ministering to the people for whom Jesus died. Teach me the beauty of his humility and how to walk in it. Amen.

29 Lord, God, I rejoice in your greatness. I celebrate your grace, your mercy, your righteousness, your holiness, and your love. Reveal to me every day new ways to honor you with my prayer, my praise, and my life. I love you, Lord. Amen.

30 Oh, Father, my heart rejoices in you. Thank you for your answers to my prayers. Help me to release my grasp on the gifts you give me and place them back in your hands. And, like Hannah, give me the patience to wait for your will. Amen.

31 Father God, you are the great and glorious God in whom there is no beginning and no end. You were, you are, and you are to come. Thank you for the salvation that is ours because of what Jesus has done on our behalf. We wait with joy for the day when we enter your gates with thanksgiving and praise. Then we will worship you face-to-face. In Jesus’ name, amen.

32 Oh, Father, I echo David’s desire, saying, “My soul yearns, even faints/ for the courts of the Lord.” I long to know you more and more. And yet I know that many times I am an unfit dwelling place for you. Come and clean the tabernacle of my Spirit so that you may be at home here. Forgive my sin so that you may say of me, ” How lovely is my dwelling place within this, my child.” Amen.

33 Father, turn us from our materialism. Slow us down. We want to spend more time with you. We want to know your Word more fully, to experience your love more deeply, to travel the roads that lead us to the heart of your heart. Draw us to you. Amen.

34 Father God, thank you for hearing our prayers. Keep our hearts tender that we may listen to your healing words, and may we always return to you in gratitude. Amen.

35 Help me, Father, not to keep an account of the wrongs done to me, but to forgive as Jesus and Stephen did, always praying that those who have hurt me will come to know you in a saving relationship. Amen.
