Do You Think God Stays In Heaven? 5 Things To Know!
Isaiah 66:1-2 (MSG)- God’s Message:
“Heaven’s my throne, earth is my footstool. What sort of house could you build for me? What holiday spot is reserved for me? I made all this! I own all this! God’s Decree. “But there is something I’m looking for: a person simple and plain, reverently responsive to what I say.
Do you think God stays in Heaven because he too lives in fear of what he’s created on earth ? So, the answer is a big No! Earth is God’s gift to humanity.
Genesis 1:26-27 (MSG)- God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, And, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth.” God created human beings;he created them godlike,
Reflecting God’s nature. He created them male and female. God blessed them: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth.”
We are made in God’s image and likeness. He blessed us and commanded us to “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! God created human beings; he created them godlike, Reflecting God’s nature. He created them male and female. This means that since the beginning of time, Earth has initially been ours to possess, dominate, take charge of, rule and live in.
Psalm 8:3-8 (MSG)- I look up at your macro-skies, dark and enormous, your handmade sky-jewelry, Moon and stars mounted in their settings. Then I look at my micro-self and wonder, Why do you bother with us?
Why take a second look our way? Yet we’ve so narrowly missed being gods, bright with Eden’s dawn light.
You put us in charge of your handcrafted world, repeated to us your Genesis-charge, Made us stewards of sheep and cattle, even animals out in the wild, Birds flying and fish swimming, whales singing in the ocean deeps.
Psalm 8:3-8 (GNT)- When I look at the sky, which you have made, at the moon and the stars, which you set in their places-what are human beings, that you think of them; mere mortals, that you care for them? Yet you made them inferior only to yourself; you crowned them with glory and honor. You appointed them rulers over everything you made; you placed them over all creation: sheep and cattle, and the wild animals too; the birds and the fish and the creatures in the seas.
Psalm 8:3-9 (NASB2020)- When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have set in place; What is man that You think of him, And a son of man that You are concerned about him? Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty! You have him rule over the works of Your hands; You have put everything under his feet, All sheep and oxen, And also the animals of the field, The birds of the sky, and the fish of the sea, Whatever passes through the paths of the seas. Lord, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the Earth!
Psalm 8:3-8 best answers this question. God thinks about us so much. He loves us to the point of leaving Earth and every living creature under our care. God has nothing to fear, and no matter what happens, God is fully assured that this was the best decision He made.
John 15:15-16 (NASB2020)- No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, because all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.
John 15:15-16 (MSG)- I’m no longer calling you servants because servants don’t understand what their master is thinking and planning. No, I’ve named you friends because I’ve let you in on everything I’ve heard from the Father. “You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil. As fruit bearers, whatever you ask the Father in relation to me, he gives you.
We are no longer called servants but friends of God. God has lovingly and freely bestowed all this on us. He made us godlike, crowning us as mini gods and goddesses with Earth as our habitation. He left Earth in our care because he trusts us to make the most of life here.
Heaven is God’s kingdom. He wouldn’t have it any other way, which is why He gave us our own kingdom to rule. Have you noticed that God never interferes with anything that happens on Earth? God could have had things changed and reset in a minute, but He let things remain as they are. He’s letting us know that he has equipped us with the necessary skills and tools to run this world from the time of Adam.
God may not be satisfied with the way we run things and live life sometimes, but because he has already appointed us rulers over everything He made, He never for once doubts our ability to put things in order and make things right. This is why He lets us be and not because He fears what he has created. Remember, God knows the end from the beginning; this means He must have seen and understood how things will turn out before He created mankind.
If God lives in fear of what he had created, He would have stopped the evolution of mankind the instant Adam and Eve disobeyed God. God gave us freedom and saw it best to provide us with a place to own and possess. He saw us fit for the job. He could have made us angels in Heaven, but instead, He chose to crown us with glory, majesty and honor just to have us mere mortals who are inferior to himself rule over the works of His hands.
He put everything under our feet, all sheep and oxen, animals of the field, the birds of the sky, the fish of the sea, and whatever passes through the paths of the seas. Always remember that Heaven is God’s home, where he lives, dwells, and rules, while Earth is his hand-crafted world where He has placed us and put us in charge of.
Here Are 5 Scriptures To Meditate And Ponder On
1 Isaiah 42: 5-6 (MSG)- the God who created the cosmos, stretched out the skies, laid out the Earth and all that grows from it, Who breathes life into Earth’s people, makes them alive with his own life: “I am God. I have called you to live right and well. I have taken responsibility for you, kept you safe. I have set you among my people to bind them to me, and provided you as a lighthouse to the nations,
2 Jeremiah 10:12-13 (MSG)- But it is God whose power made the Earth, whose wisdom gave shape to the world, who crafted the cosmos. He thunders, and rain pours down. He sends the clouds soaring. He embellishes the storm with lightnings, launches wind from his warehouse.
3 Colossians 1:16-23 (MSG)- We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment. And when it comes to the church, he organizes and holds it together, like a head does a body.
He was supreme in the beginning and—leading the resurrection parade—he is supreme in the end. From beginning to end he’s there, towering far above everything, everyone. So spacious is he, so expansive, that everything of God finds its proper place in him without crowding. Not only that, but all the broken and dislocated pieces of the universe—people and things, animals and atoms—get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies, all because of his death, his blood that poured down from the cross.
You yourselves are a case study of what he does. At one time you all had your backs turned to God, thinking rebellious thoughts of him, giving him trouble every chance you got. But now, by giving himself completely at the Cross, actually dying for you, Christ brought you over to God’s side and put your lives together, whole and holy in his presence. You don’t walk away from a gift like that!
You stay grounded and steady in that bond of trust, constantly tuned in to the Message, careful not to be distracted or diverted. There is no other Message—just this one. Every creature under Heaven gets this same Message. I, Paul, am a messenger of this Message.
4 Genesis 1:6-13 (MSG)- God spoke: “Sky! In the middle of the waters;separate water from water!” God made sky.He separated the water under sky from the water above sky. And there it was: he named sky the Heavens; It was evening, it was morning—Day Two.
God spoke: “Separate! Water-beneath-Heaven, gather into one place; Land, appear!” And there it was. God named the land Earth. He named the pooled water Ocean. God saw that it was good.
God spoke: “Earth, green up! Grow all varieties of seed-bearing plants, Every sort of fruit-bearing tree.” And there it was.
Earth produced green seed-bearing plants, all varieties, And fruit-bearing trees of all sorts. God saw that it was good. It was evening, it was morning— Day Three.
5 Genesis 1:14-23 (MSG)- God spoke: “Lights! Come out! Shine in Heaven’s sky! Separate Day from Night. Mark seasons and days and years, Lights in Heaven’s sky to give light to Earth.” And there it was. God made two big lights, the larger to take charge of Day, The smaller to be in charge of Night; and he made the stars. God placed them in the heavenly sky to light up Earth And oversee Day and Night, to separate light and dark. God saw that it was good. It was evening, it was morning— Day Four.
God spoke: “Swarm, Ocean, with fish and all sea life! Birds, fly through the sky over Earth!” God created the huge whales, all the swarm of life in the waters, And every kind and species of flying birds. God saw that it was good. God blessed them: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Ocean! Birds, reproduce on Earth!” It was evening, it was morning— Day Five.
Genesis 1:24-31 (MSG)- God spoke: “Earth, generate life! Every sort and kind:cattle and reptiles and wild animals—all kinds.” And there it was:wild animals of every kind,Cattle of all kinds, every sort of reptile and bug.God saw that it was good.
God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature. So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, And, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth.” God created human beings; he created them godlike, Reflecting God’s nature. He created them male and female. God blessed them: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth.”
Then God said, “I’ve given you every sort of seed-bearing plant on Earth And every kind of fruit-bearing tree, given them to you for food. To all animals and all birds, everything that moves and breathes, I give whatever grows out of the ground for food.” And there it was. God looked over everything he had made; it was so good, so very good! It was evening, it was morning—Day Six.
